Using click and drag functionality, sales orders can be quickly and easily combined to form a load that then becomes part of the Load Schedule. Alternatively, load, route and drop number information could be interfaced directly into Locator Expert from, for example, an external vehicle routing system.
Locator Expert allows for vehicles to be loaded either directly from bulk locations without any intermediate marshalling of the stock, as well as to be loaded after having been pre-assembled.
All loading tasks are issued to Radio Frequency (RF) terminals and the system will ensure that orders are loaded onto the vehicle in the correct drop sequence – for example, reverse drop sequence.
This module therefore provides administration and production of a loading schedule, an overview of expected vehicle departures for the gatehouse, organisational visibility of the loading process and an historical traceability of despatched loads. |
