The Master Data module is the home of the core static data utilised by Locator Expert in the control and management of the daily activities within your warehouse environment.

The Locator Expert product master file enables multiple alternate product codes to be assigned to a SKU thus, for example, allowing customers, suppliers or owners to place orders for a product using their own alternate code.
The Locator Expert product master file also allows product substitutions to be defined by multiple criteria, product kitting and multiple storage configuration options.
Locator Expert allows, with the use of ‘Plan Standards’ and ‘Task Standards’, activities to be defined for all key operational functions within the warehouse. This enables the operation to see at a glance not only the future workload by activity, but also the actual performance of both individuals and teams at task level.
‘Rules’ are the engine room of Locator Expert, they provide the framework from which all operational and business requirements are controlled. Significantly, these are available on-line to ensure you are able to meet new and changing business demands in a controlled and structured manner.
These Rules cover all aspects required to manage a modern warehousing environment and can be activated or suspended relative to planned seasonal or commercial fluctuations. |
