The System Administration module is used to define and maintain the Locator Expert user profiles and permissions.
Only those users whom you have defined as being system administrators will have access to this module, where they are able to add new users, change existing user profiles and define the modules and actions accessible to each user or user group. |
Permissions can then be further refined so that individual screens can be defined as being ‘Read Only’ to selected users, whereby they can view data on a screen, but cannot perform any transactions on it.
This module is also where automated email alerts are defined, whereby an email is sent to a specified email address or a group of email addresses when predefined system events occur. E.g. when a user has performed a stock adjustment, stock disposal or a miscellaneous receipt transaction. |
